Carmel died peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Carnew Nursing Home on the 4th April, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her husband Peter, son Mark, daughter-in-law Jennifer and sister Geraldine. Beloved mother of Adrienne and Darragh, sister of Phil, Mary and Jim,. Deeply missed by her grandchildren Emma, James, Leah, John, Luke and Alex, daughter-in-law Bernie, sisters-in-law Pauline and Frances, brother-in-law John, son-in-law Bill, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends;

Reposing at Murphy's Funeral Home, The Avenue, Gorey (Y25 K122) on Sunday 5th April, from 6.30 p.m. until 8.30 p.m. Removal from Murphy's Funeral Hpme on Monday 6th April at 10.30 a.m. to Our Lady Star of the Sea Church Riverchapel for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. followed by Private Cremation.
