Carmel Stack
(née O'Callaghan)

The death has taken place of Carmel Stack (née O'Callaghan), Mallow Road, Doneraile and formerly of Military Road, Buttevant, who passed away peacefully on the 18th of December 2024 in the presence of her loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at Windmill Nursing Home, Churchtown. Loving wife of the late John and pre-deceased by her brother John O'Callaghan. Mother to Kieran, Kevin, Brendan, Brian and Colman. Sadly missed by her brother Gabriel, sister-in-law Marie, daughters-in-law Ellen, Catherine, Aine and Lisa. Loving grandmother to Kevin, Sean, Katie, Kieran, Conor, Emma, Orna and Cara. Much loved great grandmother to Cillian and Harry, nephews John and Ray, relatives neighbours and her many close friends.

May Carmel Rest In Peace

Reposing in the family Funeral Home, Doneraile (P51 Y821) on Friday (December 20th) from 5:30pm to 7:30pm followed by Prayers. Reception into the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Doneraile on Saturday (December 21st) for Requiem Mass at 1pm. The Mass will be live streamed on https://www.doneraileparish.ie. Funeral afterwards to Oldcourt Cemetery, Doneraile.

The family would like to thank all who cared for Carmel during her illness especially her friend Bridget for her dedication and kindness and her carers, Helen, Eileen, Betty and Mary. The family would also like to thank the staff at Hazelwood Medical Centre, and all the staff at Windmill Nursing Home, Churchtown for their exceptional care and kindness given to Carmel and family during her time there.
