Carmel Whelan
(née Walsh)
Whelan, Carmel (née Walsh) – August 31, 2025 (peacefully) in the excellent care of St. Gabriel’s Nursing Home, Raheny, beloved wife of the late Patsy; lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children Jimmy, Paula, Patrick, Marty, Cara, Donna and Tom, sons-in law, daughters-in-law, her adored 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, extended family, kind neighbours and her many friends.
Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Tuesday evening (Sept 2) with family in attendance from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Requiem Mass at 10 o’clock in St. Joseph’s Church, East Wall on Wednesday (Sept 3). Funeral thereafter to Glasnevin Crematorium.
