Monkstown, Dublin / Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

WHELAN (née Delaney) (St. Patrick’s Crescent, Monkstown Farm, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) – September 23rd 2021 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff at Blackrock Hospice the Palliative Care Team the Public Health Nurses and also the Home Care Team. Carmel; dearly beloved wife of the late John and loving mother of the late Jackie. Sadly missed by her heartbroken sons and daughters Tommy, Betty, Helen, Robert and Patrick, sons-in-law Eddie and Eamon, daughters-in-law Sandra, Imelda and Caroline, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Helen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

 

May she rest in peace

Removal on Monday morning (September 27th) to Our Lady of Victories Church, Sallynoggin (Please comply with government health regulations) arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. The funeral cortege will leave the family home at approximately 9 40am for those who would like to pay their respects to Carmel and family.
