The death has occurred of Carmel Wilmot (nee Keane) Monivea, Co. Galway, formerly of Kill and Naas, Co. Kildare. Carmel passed peacefully in University Hospital Galway, surrounded by her loving family. Sadly missed by her daughter Meghan and son in law Alan, brother Tony, sisters Mary and Brenda, brother-in-law Tommy and all her extended family, friends and neighbours. A special thank you to the wonderful staff of St. Joseph’s Ward in University Hospital Galway for the exceptional care and compassion they showed to her throughout her illness.

Reposing at her sister Mary's home, 7 Glendara, Kill, Co. Kildare (W91 E8N9) on Sunday from 5pm. Funeral on Monday morning with Requiem Mass at 10am in St. Brigid's Church, Kill and afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.
