Carmel Wilson (née Killian), Rahugh, Kilbeggan, Co Westmeath and formerly Croghan, Co Offaly.

Carmel passed away peacefully (following an illness borne with great courage and dignity)on the 5th August at her home with her heartbroken family by her side. Pre-deceased by her parents Jack and Eileen Killian, Croghan. She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her devoted husband and best friend Charlie, her children Charlotte, John Paul, Pamela, Roderick and Gareth, her cherished and adored grandchildren James, Niall, Chloe, Emily, Ryan, Sonny, Molly and Lucy, brother Michael Killian (Croghan), sisters Rose Keating (Daingean), Helen Dolan (Carbury) and Martina Gallagher (Ballyhaunis), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, wonderful neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May Carmel's Gentle and Loving Soul Rest in Peace

Carmel will repose at her home in Rahugh on Tuesday (6th August) from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am in St Hugh's Church, Rahugh (N91 YOO9) with burial afterwards in Tyrrellspass cemetery.

House strictly private at all other times please.

The Wilson family would like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses and staff of St Vincent's Hospital Dublin and the Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore, the Night Nurses of the Irish Cancer Society, the Palliative Care Team and the Comfort Home Care Team for the excellent care given to Carmel during her illness.
