Carol Carey (née Bowers), Ard Ghuaire, Gort, Co. Galway.

 

It is with deep sadness that Carol's children share the news of her peaceful passing on the 2nd of August 2024, in the care of the staff of UCHG surrounded by her loving family.

Carol has been reunited with her beloved twin boys Michael and Patrick, parents May and Richard Bowers, her siblings Jean and Tommy and grandson Cillian.

 

She will be deeply missed by her children Wendy, Glenn, Mickey, Cathleen, Fiona and Martina and their father Mickey senior; by her cherished grandchildren John, Helen, Daragh, Kate, Skye, Josh, Fionn, Noah and Cian; her great granddaughter Sionna, her sons-in-law and daughters-in-law.

Sadly missed by her brothers Brian, Richard, Martyn and sister Irene, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

Mam may you rest in eternal peace, you will be sadly missed and remembered always.

 

Carol will repose in Seomra Ciúin within Gort Town Hall, Church Street, Gort (H91 E0C8), on Monday evening August 5th, from 4pm to 6pm.

Removal on Tuesday morning to St Colman's Church, Gort (H91 K228), for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Shanaglish cemetery.

 

House private at all times.
