Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the compassionate care of the ICU team at St. James' Hospital, Dublin.
Beloved wife of Peter, adored mother of Amy, James, Jenny and Louisa and cherished grandmother of little Bláithín. Deeply missed by her devoted mother Margaret, her sister Laura, brother Steven, sons-in-law Ed and Michael, daughter-in-law Saoirse, brother-in-law Jamie, sister-in-law Paula, her nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt and her many, many dear friends.
Predeceased by her father Robert Goodfellow and her parents-in-law Michael and Joy Keogh.

Reposing at Macken's Funeral Home, Distillery Road, Wexford, Y35 HP29 on Tuesday, 24th June from 5.00 pm until 7.00 pm. Funeral Service shall take place at Macken's Funeral Home on Wednesday morning, 25th June, at 12.00 noon followed by private cremation. At the family's request - please wear colourful clothing as a reflection of Carol's bright and bubbly personality - a true celebration of her vibrant life.
Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to the Oesophageal Cancer Fund, a cause close to Carol's heart. Carol was a passionate advocate for Sepsis awareness and more recently for Oesophageal Cancer awareness.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful ICU Team at St. James' Hospital for their kindness, compassion and care.
