FORDE (nee Robinson) Caroline. Ballycahalan, Peterswell, Co. Galway and formerly of Lisbrien, Kilbeacanty and London, U.K. Peacefully on the 23rd of October, 2025. Surrounded by her loving family at University Hospital Galway.

Pre- deceased by her beloved husband Brendan.

Caroline will be deeply missed by her sons David and Adrian, by her daughter-in-law Terri and by her adored grandchildren Kieran, Aisling and Ryan. Deeply regretted by her brother’s Christopher (U.K), Lenny (U.K), Sterling (U.K) and by her sister Cherry (U.K). Fondly remembered by all her in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, great neighbours and many friends.

Caroline will lie in repose in Seomra Ciúin, within Gort Town Hall, Church Street, Gort, (H91 E0C8) on Tuesday evening, October 28th, from 5.30pm until 7pm. Private removal from her residence on Wednesday October 29th with the funeral cortége arriving at St. Columba’s Church Kilbeacanty for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Caroline will be laid to rest afterwards in Rakerin cemetery. House private please at all times. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in her memory to Gort Cancer Support.

The family deeply appreciates your kindness and support at this time. A special word of thanks to all who cared for Caroline during her recent illness. Finally much gratitude to our kind neighbours and friends for all they have done for us over these difficult days.
