Cathal Freeley

On the 29th of August 2025, Cathal passed away suddenly.

Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mary.

Deeply regretted by his partner Laura, sister Alice, brother Padraig, nephew Darragh, his in-laws Lynsey and Jayden, his uncle Charlie, cousins, friends and especially his best friends Mabel and Queenie.

Reposing in Irwin’s Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin, Galway (H91 CK84), on Tuesday the 2nd of September from 5pm until 6:30pm. Cathal’s cremation service will take place on Wednesday the 3rd of September at 2pm, in Shannon Crematorium, County Clare (V14 PV30).

Parking: There is ample parking available at The Corrib Shopping Centre Multi-Story Car Park (H91 DP6R) which is only 2 minutes walk to/from the funeral home. The entrance to the car park is from Bóthar Na mBan. Please note that this car park will close at 7pm on Wednesday evening.
