Cathal Murphy

Cathal passed away peacefully at his home on 3rd April 2026. May he rest in peace.

Beloved son of Dermot and Maria and much-loved brother of Deaglan, Grannie, Niamh, Dearbhla and the late Ronan RIP. Loving partner of Grainne Grier (Co Mayo). May he rest in peace.

Cathal will be reposing at his parents' home, 34 Dernaroy Road, Dromintee, from 12 noon on Sunday, 5th April 2026, until Tuesday, 7th April 2026. Funeral leaving the house at 11 am for a 12 noon Requiem Mass in the Church of St Patrick, Dromintee. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Cathal will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his father, mother, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, his grandmother, Rose Byrne, aunts, uncles, the entire family circle, and friends.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on his soul.
