Catherine (Kitty, nee O'Sullivan) passed away peacefully in her 90th year in the loving care of the staff at St. Patrick’s Community Hospital Fermoy.  

Beloved wife of the late Jim mother-in-law of the late Marianne, dear mother of Marion (Kearney), Noel, Joe, Gerard, Brendan, Catherine, Anthony, Judith and the late Jim. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters, sister Mary Flint, son-in-law Tom, daughters-in-law Aileen, Noreen and Margaret, grandchildren Adrian, Alan, James, Joseph, Justin, Kate, Arlen, Ashley, Alex, Luke, Jennifer, Jason, Rory, Leigha, Alisha, Ryan and Dylan, 9 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Orin, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. 

Rest in Peace

 A private funeral will take place, due to government advice regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please leave a personal message in the section below 'Condolences'.

A Celebration of Catherine's life will be held with a Memorial Mass at a later date.

Notice; As we to go to Castlehyde Cemetery at approximately 12.50pm on Tuesday with the Late Catherine Aherne we will drive around St. Josephs Square, Fermoy, as a mark of respect to this wonderful lady.
