Formerly of Cloonkeenkerril, Co. Galway and Tendring /Marlow, England.

Hazel passed away peacefully aged 84, following a long stay in hospital. Born in 1942, Hazel was the beloved daughter of the late William George and Theresa Margaret Hurley and cherished sister of the late Victor Hurley and her sister Margot McMahon.

Hazel will be forever loved and deeply missed by her much-loved daughter Rachel, her sister Margot, and her adored grandchildren William and Alice. She will be sadly missed by her extended family, neighbours and friends in both England and Ireland.

Although she made her home in England, Hazel always held her family in Galway close to her heart and treasured her many short and extended visits home. She will be fondly remembered for her sense of fun, great style, sharp wit and generosity.
