The death has occurred of
Catherine Bermingham
BERMINGHAM (Cork) On 28th January 2026, unexpectedly but peacefully after a courageous battle, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff of Cork University Hospital, CATHERINE (nee Egan), late of The Fairways, Old Course, Mallow. Dearly beloved wife of Liam, much loved mother of Sabrina, Edward, Aaron, Shane and Caitlynn, their partners Mikey, Aoife, Ciara and Melanie, beloved grandmother of Shayne and Oisín and adored daughter of the late Eddie and Mona Egan.
Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, children, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, her beloved dog Molly, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Saturday (31st January) with family in attendance from 11.00am, departing funeral home at 12 noon for Service at 1.00pm in the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy. No flowers on request of the family. Donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Josephs's Foundation, Gilbert Centre, Mallow.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the CUH for the care given to Catherine during this time.
May she Rest in Peace.
