(née Heery)
Catherine Briody (née Heery), Tubrid, Oldcastle, Co. Meath, 7th March 2025, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Cavan General Hospital. Now at peace with her sister Paula, nephews Raymond and Paddy, brother-in-law Benny, and sisters-in-law Kathleen and Bríd. Catherine will be sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Norbert, her much loved and loving daughter Paula, her son-in-law Brian, brothers Tom & Noel, sisters Cynthy and Ann, brothers and sisters-in- law, nieces, nephews, relatives, a large circle of friends and her constant companion, Elsa.

Catherine will repose at Gibneys Funeral Home, Oldcastle (A82 D376) on Saturday 8th March from 4:00–7:00pm. Catherine’s Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of St Brigid and St Fiach, Ballinacree on Sunday 9th March at 1:00pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
