On December 5th 2025, peacefully at Cork University Hospital, Catherine (Cáite) (née O’Mahony), beloved wife of Tom and loving mother of Meg, Paul, Jonathan and sister of the late Oliver. Fond grandmother of Adam, Dylan, Josh, Ben, Courtney, Garbhán, Cormac and Síle. Sadly missed by her loving husband and family, son -in-law Don, daughters-in-law Gretta and Jacinta, sisters Alice, Mary, Loretto, Noreen, Phil and Chris, brothers Mick, Tim and John, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Rest in peace.
Lying in repose at her home Chapel Road, Ovens (Eircode P31 H328) on Sunday (7th) from 6pm to 8pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass at 11.30am on Monday (8th) in the Church of St John the Baptist, Ovens which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/ovens. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
