Catherine (Cassie) Traynor

The death has occurred of Catherine (Cassie) Traynor, Lemgare, Clontibret, Co. Monaghan. Saturday, December 23rd peacefully in her 101st year.

Predeceased by her husband James, son Frank and grandson Fintan.

Cassie, deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family, daughters Ann Hayes (Dublin), Maureen Connolly (Annyalla), Bonnie Murphy (Derrynoose) and Diane Bartley (Enniskillen), sons Seamus (Birmingham), Dessie (Australia), Martin (Lemgare), Brendan (Latnakelly), Enda and Aiden (Australia), sons in-law, daughters in-law, her 33 cherished grandchildren and 33 adored great-grandchildren, niece, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Cassie will repose at Wards Funeral Home Castleblayney (A75NP30) on Tuesday December 26th (St Stephen’s Day) from 2pm until 6pm. Cassie’s funeral cortège will travel from the family home in Lemgare on Wednesday morning at 11:15am to arrive at St Mary’s Church Clontibret for funeral mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Castleblayney Cancer Society c/o Wards Funeral Home or by donation box.
