Catherine Harrington
(née Burke)
HARRINGTON (Youghal, Cork and late of Liam Healy Road, Farranree) on January 27th, 2026 unexpectedly, after a courageous battle surrounded by her loving family at Cork University Hospital; CATHERINE (nee Burke). Beloved wife of John and much-loved mother of George and Sarah. Predeceased by her parents Edith and Patrick Burke, brother Will and recently deceased mother- in-law Noreen.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, grandchildren Sean and Leo, sisters Helen and Ann-Marie, brothers Michael, Edward and Paul, brother-in-law Barry, son-in-law Jim, daughter-in-law Barbara and all her nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Friday 30th January from 5pm-7pm with prayers at 6.45pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday 31st January at 10am in the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
