Hughes, Catherine, (née Cummins) – 25th February 2026, (Whitehall and formerly of Raheny), (Peacefully), surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at St Gabriel's Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Gerard and loving mother of Caroline, Geraldine, Sinéad and Ciarán. Predeceased by her sister Margaret and brothers-in-law Omar and Gerry. Very sadly missed by her son and daughters, sons-in-law John, Jonathan and Anthony, daughter-in-law Emma, grandchildren Sienna, Charlotte, Ethan, Emily, Callan, Senan, Sam, Rían and Caleb, sister Winnie and brothers Hugh and John, sisters-in-law Colette and Noeleen, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at St Gabriel’s Nursing Home for their wonderful care and kindness shown to Catherine.

Reposing at Stafford Funeral Home. Maypark, Malahide Road, Donnycarney on Monday afternoon 2nd March from 3 – 5 pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to the Church of Our Lady of Consolation, Donnycarney arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by Burial in Fingal Cemetery
