The death has occurred of Catherine (Kate) Murphy (recently of La Floresta, Barcelona, formerly of Avila, Spain and 5 Monck Place, Phibsboro, Dublin).
Catherine passed peacefully on 1st May 2024 at her home in La Floresta, Barcelona, surrounded by her loving family, in her 72nd year.
Loving mother of Geoff, Terri, Neil and Peter. Loving grandmother to Séan, Rachel, Hannah and Caoimhe. Sister of Vincent and the late Marion, Stephanie, Tony and Anne. Widow to the late Santiago.
Catherine will be deeply missed by her children, brother, daughter in law, son’s partners, sisters / brothers in law, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
May Catherine’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.
The Funeral Mass will take place at 9.30 am, Friday 7th June in Glasnevin Chapel followed by the interment of her remains in Glasnevin Cemetery.
Messages of condolence for her family may be left in the condolence book on the day or online below.
