Catherine (Kathleen), in her 94th year, passed away peacefully on August 22nd 2024 in the tender loving care of the doctors nurses and staff of Mallow General Hospital. Wife of the late Joe and a loving mother to the late Denise.

Kathleen will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her nephews, nieces,grand nephews, grand nieces, sister-in-law Aggie Hanley, her good friend Margaret, kind neighbours, friends and her many carers.

Kathleen will repose at her residence, No 6 Doneraile Road, Shanballymore Eircode P51TH6O on Saturday evening, August 24th from 7pm to 8.30pm followed by prayers

Reception into the Church of Christ the King Shanballymore for Funeral Mass at 9.30am on Sunday, August 25th. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special word of thanks to those that supported Kathleen over the last number of years,

to Hazelwood Medical centre and Thornhills pharmacy Kildorrery who provided her medical needs,

to her carers who cared for Kathleen and supported her in her own home.

Finally , to the staff of the Medical 2 ward in Mallow General Hospital for the exceptional care

shown and given to Kathleen in her final days.
