Catherine (Kathleen) Hennessy
(née Gallagher)
Catherine (Kathleen) Hennessy (née Gallagher) of Bray, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully on 30th May 2025, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, after a long and happy life. Predeceased by her loving husband James and daughter-in-law Patricia, devoted mother of Paul, Jimmy and Judith, dearly loved Nanny of Stephen, Danielle, Dylan, Cody, Oisín, Tehya and fondly remembered by Danielle’s husband Graham, Dylan’s wife Aoife and Oisin’s partner Rachel, much loved Nanny Kay Kay of Brandon, Charlie, Emie, Zach and Noah, lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Fiona, son-in-law Ger, Paul’s partner Sandra, nieces, nephews, extended family, her wonderful neighbours and friends.
The family would like to thank all the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital and especially all the staff of Our Lady’s ward for their care, support and kindness you all showed to our mother. From the bottom of our hearts thank you.
Reposing in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Tuesday (3rd June) from 4.00pm-6.00pm. Removal from her home on Wednesday (4th June) at 9.30am, walking to St. Peter’s Church, Little Bray, arriving for a Funeral Mass at 10.00am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
