Catherine [Kathleen/Kate] Rowsome [nee Flynn] passed away peacefully, at St. Ita's Community Hospital, after a long illness, in the loving care of the excellent staff of the Orchid and Camilla Ward, on the 6th January 2023.  Kathleen will be sadly missed by her loving husband Billy, her cherished sons Micheál and Liam, her daughter-in-law Caroline, and Liadain Micheál's partner, her much loved grandchildren Isobel and Poppy. She is predeceased by her parents and brothers Pat and John. Deeply regretted by her brother James [Ned] and her sister Mary, her sister-in-law Sandra and brothers-in-law Pierce and Tom.  Nephews and nieces, extended family, dear friends and kind neighbours.

Reposing at Riedy's Funeral Home this Sunday evening, January 8th, from 5pm to 7pm, arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Newcastle West, at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, January 9th, at 11.30am, with burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.
