CHATTEN (née Coyne), Catherine (Kay), Ballinteer, Dublin and Leenane, Co. Galway, July 7th, 2025, peacefully, at the Beacon Hospital after a short illness borne with humour and fortitude. Kay, forever missed by the love of her life and devoted husband of fifty-six years, Pat and loving Mother of Conor, Rory, Declan, Dara and Zoe. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Tom and Gerry, sisters-in-law Kitty and Mary, daughters-in-law Deborah, Helene and Elizabeth, her adored grandchildren Grian, Finn, Jessica, Nicholas, Isobel, Nocona, Quanah and great-grandchild Marlyn, and all extended family and a wide circle of many friends. A special thank you to the magnificent staff of the Oncology ward at the Beacon who looked after Kay with great skill and kindness.
Reposing at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, D16 VO46, on Thursday (July 10th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning (July 11th) to the St. John the Evangelist Church, Ballinteer, D16 VK27, arriving for 10am Mass, followed by a Cremation Service at 12pm in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome, D6W HY98.
