Catherine (Kay) Hitz (née Lott) (Rosewood, Ballincollig) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and the wonderful staff at Mercy University Hospital on February 1st, 2026.
Sadly missed by her loving husband Paul, dear son Peter and his partner Céline, and her sisters Marie and Pat.
Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Gavin, Garrett, Lorraine, Deirdre, Jayne, Emma and Elizabeth, her brothers-in-law Otto (and his wife Monica) and Bill, relatives, friends, neighbours and carers.
Predeceased by her brother Jack and her sister Elizabeth (Betty).

Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig on Wednesday (4th February) from 6pm to 7pm for visitation. Requiem Mass on Thursday (5th) at 12noon at the Church of St Mary and St John, Ballincollig which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/stmjballincollig . Funeral afterwards to St Finbarr’s Cemetery, Glasheen Road.
