Catherine (Kay) Mackesy
(née Doyle)
MACKESY (Douglas, Cork): On February 9th, 2026, peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff at the Cork University Hospital in the presence of her loving family, CATHERINE, (Kay), (née Doyle), loving wife of the late Liam, adored mother of Billy, Gerard, Mary and Susan, sister of Mary (Saunders), Sheila (Hennessy), Martha (Walshe), Geraldine (Greally), Anne (Looby) and the late baby Mona.
Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Ita, adored grandchildren Louise, Sally, Jill and Liam, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Tuesday (February 10th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.30am on Wednesday (February 11th) in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Ballinlough which can be viewed
Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.
