Catherine (Kaye) Rooney
(née Shiels)
Catherine (Kaye) Rooney, Née Shiels, Balrothery, Co. Dublin, (late of Skerries, and Public Health Nurse for Skerries and Rush) 8th February 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary, sister of the late Liam. Tony, Nicky, Jos and Oliver. Sadly missed by her loving husband and best friend Alan, daughters Noelle and Kate, adored three grandchildren Christian, Julia and Lucas, sister Jane, brother Noel, sons-in-law Kevin and Glenn, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and a large circle of friends.
May Kaye's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing at her residence Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm. Removal Thursday to St. Patrick's Church, Skerries, arriving for 10am funeral Mass, burial thereafter in Balrothery cemetery.
House Private At All Other Times Please.
The family would like to sincerely thank The Palliative Care Team from St. Francis Hospice Raheny, The Public Health Nurses, Balbriggan, Dr. Jennifer Gilmore and team at St. Luke's Hospital and the carers from Komfort kare for their invaluable service to Kaye over the course of her illness.
