It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Kiely (nèe McDonagh), Burnthouse, Rosscahill, Co. Galway, on March 21st 2026.

Peacefully in the comfort and good kind care of the team at Galway Hospice with her loving family by her side. She faced illness with great courage, dignity, and strength.

Catherine is predeceased by her husband Joe, parents John and Margaret, brothers Eddie, Mattie, and sister Mary.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her sons David, Keith, Chris, Jonathan, Anthony and her daughter Joanna, brothers and sisters, her beloved grandchildren, daughters-in-law, and son-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, all her extended family, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing on Tuesday, 24th March, 2026, in Aiseirí Funeral Home, Moycullen (H91Y54A) from 5pm with removal at 6.30pm to the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Killannin (H91R883). Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Wednesday, 25th March, 2026.
