Catherine Kit Walsh (née Hegarty).
Rathduff, Grenagh and formerly of Dunbulloge, Carrignavar.
Kit passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family in Cork University Hospital (CUH) on Saturday, March 15th, 2025.
Loving wife of the late Tom, much loved mother of Catherine (O’Sullivan – Belvedere, Farmers Cross), Siobhan (Manning - Riverstown), John, Carmel (Kelleher - Newgrove, Whitechurch), Eileen (Murphy – Ballygibbon, Blarney) and Tim, cherished grandmother of Colm, Conor, Kate, Eimear, Ciara, Jessica, Lauren, Daniel, Elaine, Barry, Jennifer and Ian.
Dear sister of Joan Forde – (Coom, Glenville), the late Mary Noonan, Nell Noonan and Tim.
Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons-in-law Brian, Joe, Nelius and Seamus, daughters-in-law Geraldine (née Corkery – Donoughmore) and Sandra (nee O’Sullivan – Clonakilty), sister-in-law Peg, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and her dear friends.

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Mallow (P51 XE2T) on Monday (St. Patrick's Day) evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, followed by Prayers.
Requiem Mass at 2:00pm on Tuesday in St. Lachteen’s Church, Grenagh, after which Kit will be laid to rest in St. Lachteen’s Cemetery, Grenagh.
