The death occurred of Catherine (Kitty) Flannery (née Christie) Grangebeg, Boyle, Co. Roscommon.

November 29th 2022.

Peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff of the Plunkett Community Nursing Home, Boyle.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy, brothers Jack and Fr. Jim.

Survived by her loving brother and sister, Peter (U.K.), and Mary Spellman (Boyle), sisters-in-law Ann Mc Dermott (Sligo) and Nora Mulligan (Grange), extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

 

In accordance with Kitty’s wishes her body was donated, for Medical Science Research, to Galway University College.

Kittys wishes have now been fulfilled and she will be returned to her family for her Funeral Mass and Burial.

 

May Kitty Rest In Peace.

 

Removal to Saint Joseph’s Parish Church, Boyle, on Friday, the 17th of May, at 6pm.

Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday, the 18th of May, at 3pm, followed by interment in Killaraght (old) cemetery.
