Catherine (Kitty) Hickey (née Dwyer), 60 Pairc Mhuire, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow, passed away peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on 19th April 2026. Predeceased by her son Michael, parents and brothers David and John. Beloved wife of Dickie. Kitty will be lovingly remembered and very sadly missed by her sons Thomas and Ken and her daughter Sharon, daughters-in-law Mary and Ann and son-in-law Christy, her 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, extended family, kind neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Cushen’s Funeral Home, Kilcarrig Street, Bagenalstown (R21 V127) on Tuesday, 21st April, from 2pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass will be held at St. Andrew’s Church, Bagenalstown, on Wednesday, 22nd April at 11am. Funeral Mass will be followed by burial in the Cemetery of the Assumption, Bagenalstown.
