Shields (Nee Murphy) Knockanima, Lake Road, Loughrea, Co. Galway, January 19th 2015, Catherine (Kitty) (predeceased by her husband’s Tommy & Dan, her daughter Anne) devoted mother of sons Vincent, Stephen, Tommy, Dan & Andrew, daughters Mausi, Dottie & Hattie. Sadly missed by her sisters Breeda & Carmel, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours & friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace
Reposing in her residence this Tuesday evening from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral cortege arriving at St Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea on Wednesday morning for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in The New Cemetery, Athenry. Family flowers only by request, donations, if so desired, to Galway Hospice Foundation. House private on Wednesday morning by request.
