Catherine (Kitty) Whelton
(née Keohane)
WHELTON (Desert, Clonakilty and Old Head, Kinsale): on January 19th 2022 peacefully at Clonakilty Community Hospital and surrounded by her loving family. CATHERINE (Kitty) (nee Keohane) beloved wife of the late Maurice and dear mother of Mary (Whelton Hayes), Theresa (Tobin) and Angela (O’Sullivan), sister of the late Denis and Tim, sister-in-law of the late Mary, Pat Joe and his wife Mary. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, sons-in-law John and Gerard, her precious grandchildren Tracey, John, Seamus, Daniel, Brian, Mark, David, Alice, Séan and the late Mervyn Francis, nephews Martin and Pat, extended family, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Thursday, January 20th 2022 from 8.45pm to 9.45pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Friday, January 21st 2022 at 2.30pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty. This will be livestreamed via www.clonakiltyparish.ie/live. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty.
