Catherine (Kate) Lally née Matthews, (former Secondary Teacher, St. Vincents School, Dundalk), Tuites Lane, Blackrock, Co Louth, died peacefully in the wonderful care of the Louth County Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday 2nd July 2025. Catherine much loved wife of Jim, dearly cherished mother of Jamie, Conor and the late John who died in infancy, devoted nana of James, Sophie, Zara, Anna, Tom and Theo, sister of Oliver, Michael, Colm, Mary, and Pat and daughter of the late Paddy and Kathleen. Catherine will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Jenny and Liana, brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May She Rest in Peace

Catherine will repose at her son Conor’s Home, Tuites Lane (A91N253) on Friday from 6pm until 10pm. Removal on Saturday afternoon, to St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Blackrock arriving for Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in St. Fursey’s Cemetery, Haggardstown.
