Catherine (Lena) Purcell (née Flanagan), Garryduff, Errill, Co. Laois.

Passed away peacefully on the 2nd October 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Davey and son-in-law Paddy.

Lena will be sadly missed by her children, Robert, Maura (Gray), Kay (Moore), Michael and Grace (Smith), daughters-in-law Freda and Geraldine, sons-in-law Pat and Bryan, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Guilfoyle's Funeral Home, Castletown, (Eircode R32TN84) this Friday evening (Oct 3rd) from 6pm to 8pm with prayers at 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Saturday morning (Oct 4th) at 10am in the Church of the Assumption, Killasmeestia, followed by interment in Clonmeen Cemetery, Garryduff, Errill (R32C5Y4)
