Leon (née Dunne) Catherine Eithne (Kay), 28th August 2025, (Walkinstown and formerly of Drumcondra), passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Beloved wife of Laurence, much loved mam of Colm, Evelyn, Carl, John, Sharon, Yvonne, Nicola and the late baby Laurence and adored nana of Sophia, Gemma, Glen, Emma, Dean, Jamie, Sorcha, Seán, Jack, Oran and great-granddaughters Scarlett and Violett. Predeceased by her mother and father Joseph and Annie Dunne and her 5 bothers and 4 sisters.

 

Catherine will be forever loved and sadly missed by her loving husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home on Saturday (30th August) from 5pm to 7pm and Sunday (31st August) from 2pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass on Monday (1st September) at 11.30am in St. Agnes’s Church, Crumlin Village followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery, arriving at approximately 1.30pm.
