Catherine O’Flaherty (née Downes) (Hyde Avenue, Ballinacurra Weston , Limerick and formerly of Hospital, Co. Limerick.
February 12th 2026 peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.
Beloved wife of the late Ambrose. Dearly loved mother of Catherine, Mary, Sandra, Michelle and Michael. Sadly missed by her sons-in-law Tony and Michael, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Donie, sisters Eily, Bridie and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends especially her best friend Ena.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Monday (16th February) from 5 to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, O’Connell Avenue on Tuesday (17th February) for Requiem Mass at 11.15am followed by burial cremation in Shannon Crematorium at 1pm.
