Later the family moved to Coolmona, Donoughmore. Catherine’s married years were spent in Glounthaune, Co. Cork, where she raised four children: Don, Catherine, Brian and Matthew. She always had a special love for the Irish language, poetry, gardening, and knitting. Her love for learning led her to the study and certification in the Montessori method of education.

She is sadly missed by Don and Raquel and daughters Briana and Carina; Catherine and Timothy; Brian and Corinne and sons Nicolas and Thomas; Matthew and Valentina and children Liam, Emma and Alex. Catherine is also sadly missed by Davina Reidy who held a special place in her heart.
