The death has occurred of
Catherine, Sister Marie Therese Pierce
Pierce, Catherine, (Belfast, Waterford) Sister Marie Therese, died peacefully on 23rd January, 2026 in the Good Shepherd Convent, 19 Rossmore Drive, Belfast surrounded by her Religious Community and her niece Maria.
Sister Therese will be reposing at the Convent Chapel from 4 p.m. Saturday 24th January until Monday Morning, 25th January, when she will leave the convent to arrive at The Good Shepherd Church, Holy Rosary Parish for 12 noon Requiem Mass followed by burial in the adjoining Good Shepherd Cemetery.
Pre-deceased by her parents Margaret and William Pierce, her sister Margaret – Sister Mary Visitation, her brothers, Pat and John Pierce. Deeply regretted by her nieces - Margaret, Maria and Joan; nephews, Willie, Sean, James and Gerard; all her great grand nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends.
