CATHERINE THERESA HOULIHAN NÉE KING, Ballyhorgan, Ballyduff, Tralee, Co. Kerry and formerly of Tubrid, Ardfert, Co. Kerry, passed away peacefully on the 26th February, 2026 in the presence of her loving family at University Hospital Kerry. Predeceased by her parents, brothers and sister. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, her husband Michael, sons William and John, daughter Caroline, daughters-in-law Mairead and Geraldine, son-in-law Steve, grandchildren Michael, Jack, Christopher, Daisy, Jack, Killian and Ella, sister, brother, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Catherine Theresa’s family are very grateful for the amazing care she received in University Hospital Kerry and would especially like to thank the staff of the Carrig Ward, UHK.

Reposing at Lawlors Funeral Home, Ballyduff on Sunday evening (1st March) from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Requiem Mass for Catherine Theresa Houlihan will be celebrated at 11:00am on Monday (2nd March) in SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Ballyduff followed by burial in Rahela Cemetery, Ballyduff.
