Catherine Young
(née McGirr)
YOUNG, Catherine, (née McGirr) – 1st August 2023, (Artane, Dublin and formerly of Montenotte, Co. Cork), Peacefully in her 96th year, surrounded by her loving family at Beneavin House Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the Late Gabriel and loving mother of Jean, Susan (New Zealand) and David. Very sadly missed by her son and daughters, sons-in-law Pat O’Sullivan and JB (Bryan) Bunworth, David’s partner Maya, grandchildren Emma, Killian, Ben and Jane, Emma's husband Barry, sister-in-law Marie, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Rd, Coolock on Friday afternoon 4th August from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Saturday morning to the church of St. John the Baptist, Clontarf Road arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.
