The death has occurred of Cathleen Quinlan (Kit) (nee O' Connor), Six-Mile-Water, Whitechurch and late of Gooseberry Hill, Meelin and Liscullane, Charleville, Co. Cork on the 8th of December, 2023, after a short illness in the loving care of her family and friends.
Predeceased by her husband Benjamin (Ben), sisters and brothers Paddy, Tom, Mary, Margaret, Ellen, Dora, Noreen, Florine (Joe) and Ann.
Kit will be sadly missed by many; daughters Mary and Elaine, sons Jerry, Eamonn, David and Denis; daughters-in-law Susan, Bronagh and Teresa; sons-in-law Brendan and Rodney. Grandchildren Ben and Colm Quinlan, Benjamin and Judy Murray, Conor, Blaise and Tess Quinlan, sister Hannah Sullivan, brother Eamonn O'Connor, sisters-in-law Maura and Helena. Her beloved nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and all who cared for Kit during her illness.
Rest in Peace.
Reposing at her residence Six-Mile-Water, Whitechurch (T34 FT95) on this Saturday evening from 3pm to 5pm. Reposing on Sunday evening at Allen's Funeral Home, Rockchapel (P51 W891) from 3pm to 5pm followed by removal to St. Peter's Church, Rockchapel. Requiem mass on Monday at 12 noon, burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
