Cathrona Herron O'Grady

The death has occurred in Sligo General Hospital of Cathrona Herron O’Grady, Mount Edward, Grange, Co Sligo. Cathrona was a nurse in St John’s Community Hospital, Sligo since 1998 but in recent years worked with St John’s Rehab Unit. She was the beloved daughter of John and Kitty Ann Herron and wife of Tom. She’ll be lovingly missed by her sons Mark and Danny, her brothers and sister Donnie and wife Peggy, Stephen and partner Teresa, Antoinette, nieces, nephew, Aunts, Uncles and all her extended family and friends.

Cathrona will be reposing at her late residence, Mount Edward, Grange from 11am Saturday, the 11th of September.

In accordance with H.S.E and government guidelines, the wake, funeral and burial are private to family, neighbours and close friends only with maximum of 50% capacity of the church permitted. .

Funeral from there on Sunday afternoon at 1.15pm going to the Church of Mary Immaculate, Grange for 2 o’clock requiem mass, which can be viewed on below link https://www.facebook.com/ahamlishparishsligo/live/. Burial afterwards in Ahamlish Cemetery. Family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to St John’s Community hospital patient comfort fund, Benbulben Rehabilitation Unit c/o any family member or Kelly’s Funeral Directors, Oakfield, Raphoe.
