Catriona (Kate) English-Velten

The death has occurred of Kate English-Velten, Oslo, Norway, and formerly of The Square, Ballyporeen, Co. Tipperary. Kate, youngest daughter of the late Dan and Mary English and pre-deceased by her sister Breda and brother Harry, passed away suddenly in Oslo, following a short illness.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband David, his daughter Trudi and son Iver, her sisters and brothers Denis, Anne, Mary (Lonergan), Larry, Gerardine (Lonergan), Veronica (O’Keeffe), Dan, John, Brian, her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mass in memory of Kate will take place at 7:00pm on Thursday December 14th in the Church of The Assumption, Ballyporeen. Kate’s funeral will take place in Norway at a later date.
