The death has occurred of
Cecil WHELAN
Cecil Whelan, February 19th 2023, unexpectedly after a short illness at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved husband of Stella and much loved father of Conor, Martina and Paula and adored grandfather of Darren, Lauren, Ellen, Rachel, Gavin, Aoife, Conor Jnr, Bonnie and Ellie. Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, sister Angie, sons-in-law Damien and Denis, daughter-in-law Helen, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May Cecil Rest in Peace.
Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home Pollerton Castle on Wednesday evening (Feb 22nd) from 4pm to 7.30pm with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning (Feb 23rd) at 10am in the Cathedral of the Assumption. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired to the Poor Clare Sisters, Graiguecullen.
