Cecilia (Celia) Macklin O'Brien

Macklin O'Brien (Bandon) on July 10th 2024 in the tender and loving care of the Staff of the Dochas Ward in Clonakilty Community Hospital. Cecilia (Celia) (nee Coholan), New Road, beloved wife of the late Bob Macklin and Ben O'Brien, dear mother of Robert, Juliette (Coffey) and Kerry, dear sister of Mercy, Pat and the late Noreen, Cully, Mickey, Anthony and Johnny and mother-in-law of the late Tim.

Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Maria, grandchildren Dylan, Jack, Clodagh and Rebecca, great-grandchildren Iarlaith and Cillian, sisters, sisters-in-law Kathleen and Cora, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Celia will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon on Thursday from 5.30pm followed by prayers at 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 2pm in St. Patrick's Church, Bandon which will be livestreamed on www.bandonparish.ie/live, funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
