Collins (née Caldwell) Cecilia, 5th July 2025, Crumlin, peacefully in her 99th year, surrounded by her loving family in the exceptional care of the staff of St. James’s Hospital; beloved wife of the late Christy, loving mam of Seán (John), Shay, Catherine, Cecilia and Marie and cherished granny of Carl, Brian, Antoinette, Jonathan, James, Caroline, Stephen, Carmel, Sarah, Luke and Emma.

 

Cecilia will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her loving children, daughters-in-law Bernie and Carmel, sons-in-law Henry, Jerry and Eamonn, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandson, sister Marie and brother Tony, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

Cecilia’s family wish to express a special thank you to the staff of Private 2 ward, St. James’s Hospital for their kind care and compassion shown to Cecilia throughout her illness.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Tuesday (8th July 2025) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (9th July 2025) at 10am in St. Agnes’s Church, Crumlin Village, followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery.
