The death has occurred of Cecilia Richardson (née Mulligan), Cairn, Ballyjamesduff, and formerly of Lacken, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan. suddenly but peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital on Saturday, 31st January 2026, surrounded by her loving husband Gerry and her family.
Predeceased by her parents, Mike Joe and Rose.

Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Gerry; her brothers Padraig (Sharon), Michael, Frankie (Olivia), and Gerard (Eimear); her sisters, her twin Maggie (Maggie P), Rosie (Adrian), and Susan (Seamus).

Also sadly missed by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews Aidan, Gavin, Tiernan, Aoibhe, Grainne, and Mille Rose (goddaughter); aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours, and many friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Monday evening from 5.30pm with prayers at 7.30pm.
Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12.00 noon in St Michael’s Church, Potahee, interment afterwards in the adjoining new Cemetery.
