Celine Campbell Derreens, Achill, County Mayo passed away peacefully at Swinford District Hospital on 19th February 2026.

 

Predeceased by her husband Neil, parents Pat and Julia, sisters Margaret and Christine, brother Michael, and brother-in-law Eugene.

 

Sadly missed by her loving family: daughters Bernadette, Christine and Siobhan, her sons Neil, Michael and Thomas, brother Padraig, sister-in-law Pam, sons-in-law, daughters in law, grandchildren, Michelle, Amanda, Danielle, Neil, Kayleigh, Jack, Sean, Amy, Kirstie, Niamh, great grandchildren, Harry, Robbie, Teddy and Sonny, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

Reposing at Sweeneys Funeral Home, Achill Sound,(F28 HN81), Co. Mayo on Friday evening from 5pm – 7pm.

 

Removal from her home Saturday at 6.15pm for arrival at the Church of the Sacred Heart Derreens at 6.30pm.

 

Requiem mass Sunday at 1.30pm with burial after in Glencoe Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Glencoe/Granaghan Cemetery Restoration Fund.
