The death has occurred of Cepta McGrath née Furey, Dublin Road, Oranmore, Co. Galway and formerly of Gurrane North, Oranmore.

 

Cepta passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on the 12th November 2025.

 

Predeceased by her parents Stephen and Bridie, brothers Johnny, Jimmy, Christom, her sisters Sally (Keane), Frances (Patterson), Kathleen (Higgins) and niece Helen.

Beloved wife of Tony and dearly loved mother of Seán and Jean. Sadly missed by her family, her adored grandchildren Eloise, Robert and Adalene, daughter-in-law Suzanne, son-in-law Tadhg, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours, work colleagues in the Brothers of Charity and many friends.

 

Reposing at Tearmann Mhuire on the grounds of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore (H91XC61) this Saturday, 15th of November from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. Funeral mass Sunday afternoon, 16th November at 2 pm. Burial afterwards in Renville Cemetery.

 

House private Sunday morning (by request).
